History:
Valerie Luna Jones grew up in Mystic Falls as a normal girl. She was an only child to the parents of a teacher and a doctor. She was seen as being a happy girl who never did stop smiling. When her mom would drop her off at her babysitter, the babysitter would mention about how Valerie was the happiest one there. Her parents all got compliments about how she was the most politest and kindest girl they have ever seen. When she was old enough to go to school, she was a straight A student and would have to tutor kids on their homework. Everything was all sunshine and rainbows, until it was the night of Valerie's sixteenth birthday. On her sixteenth birthday, Valerie's parents were setting up a surprise birthday party for her. It was a cold and stormy night as someone then came to the door and knocked on it. Her mother answered the door and there as a vampire. The vampire was an old friend of her mom, so her mom of course let the vampire into the home. The vampire went onto a killing rampage as they did not care that a ton of blood got around the room to show the murder. After the vampire was done with their meal of the Jones, Valerie came back and saw her parents were dead. She screamed and ran away. She had suspicions of vampires around the town after she saw Caroline Forbes's bite marks on her neck, but now this was more evidence that vampires were in fact real. On her sixteenth birthday she did not get a car or a party, she got dragged into the towns dark history. After her sixteenth birthday, she ran off to New Orleans and trained with a vampire hunter to become one herself. Once she turned eighteen though, she moved back to the town and enrolled back into the high school. Once she was back in town though, she met a man who was different than any she had talked to before. His name was Addison Hughes, a werewolf. She lives with him and he helps her with all of her hunts. Valerie is a bit different now and days, besides being a hunter of course. She does not show her emotions that much unless someone truly does earn her trust. Her biggest goal in life is to kill the vampire who killed her parents.
