History:Rebekah was born 1000s of years ago to her two parents, Esther and Mikael Mikaelson. She grew up in a village full of werewolves, but they caused no problems until her brother, Henrik, was victim of an attack. Her mother decided that they could no longer stay unprotected from the dangers their neighbors offered. She used a spell on the family that would make the family turn into vampires if they died, but she was unaware of what would really happen if they were to die. Her own father killed Rebekah. She and her siblings woke up to find themselves much stronger and faster with a new set of strengths, and new weaknesses that they would soon discovered. She traveled with her brother, Klaus, for years. She only separated from her brother when it was absolutely necessary. In 1920, she was daggered because she fell in love with Stefan Salvatore. Her brother told her to leave him, but Rebekah didn’t want to leave the one man she felt truly loved her for her. In 2010, she was awakened. She was crushed to find that Stefan didn’t have interest in her. She is haunted by her past and while she attempts to appear emotionless and indifferent, she really is an insecure woman who’s tired of being used.
