"Seems pretty legit to me." she said, chuckling. She looked down to see hanna licking happily at the water. pour girl does through water like it's nothing. "So, what are the odds that after high school, we would both go to college on full scholarships, graduate sucessfully, move to this little town and find career fields in the animal department, let alone dogs?" she asked him, placing her hands on the table.

I take a sip of the Diet Coke stet in front of me. I smile at her. I'd say slim. Things happen for a reason, though. I glance at Johnny as he finishes his water and stares at Hannah. Someone else is falling in love. You know, the real reason I avoided you in high school was because you were right about me. Everything you said about me. That my arrogance was just a ploy to protect myself. You were the only person who saw through me, and I hated it. I couldn't trust anyone, not after what happened. I wanted to trust you more than anything, but I couldn't. I couldn't let myself feel. It was easier to be a condescending jerk than to actually be myself and let people in.v I meet her gaze. Taylor was like me. She was a queen bee, bitchy, but that's not who she really was. Would it sound completely crazy if I told you I've been in love with you since sophomore year? I take a sip of my drink and chuckle. Never got over it. I couldn't shake you. Couldn't do it. I look at her. I'm still in love with her.

Taylor thanked the waiter as he gave her a coke. What came out of David's mouth next took her by suprise. Not the slim chance part or that things happen for a reason, because they do. The part that shocked her was the reason why he avoided not just her, but many people in high school. Taylor had been told time and time again that she can see through people. She was only able to do this because she saw through her parents when she was younger. All they wanted was money and fame. They no longer cared for the girl they had at home. The trait grew as the years went on, now being able to tell if someone just wants to get into her pants, or if they really connect with her; and right now, she could see he was trying to connect with her. "It might sound crazy, but thats the world we live in. But tell me would it sound crazy to you that you have never gotten out of my head since senior year?" she asked him, hoping his reply would be something similair.

A smile corsses my features. I reach across the table and take her hand in mine. I run my thumb over the top of her knuckles. Maybe, but everything's a bit crazy. I'd say I'm pleasantly surprised to hear that, Taylor. I don't pay much attentino when our pizzas are set in front of us. I'm focused on Taylor. I nod in thanks to the waiter. You know, I, never quite got the opportunity to thank you. I speak more seriously. No one else thought I was worth their time. Granted, that was my intention; I didn't want people to get close to me, but for some weird reason, you decided I was worth it. Somewhere along the way, you decided I was worth your time, I want to thank you for that, Taylor. I speak seriously.

David then reached his hand over to hers, taking it in his and running this thumb over her knuckles. She was so focused on what he was saying, she didnt even see the pizza come out untill the smell hit her. Yet, she was not detered from her one object of focus. "Have I ever told you why i was placed in the boarding school? My parents didnt want to deal with me. They were to focused on their careers, money and New York fame, that they had no time for me AND my little sister. I learned to find who needed company the most. It's typically the people who push others away or the ones that bury themselves in work, academics and other things. If their was anyone at that school who needed someone, it was you." she said, leaning into the table. She hated how anilitically she sounded.

I raise an eyebrow and shrug my shoulders. I've never been good at expressing what I want, let alone what I need. A small smile forms on my lips. Evidently I have someone to help me with that now. I give her hand a gentle squeeze before taking a sip of my drink. I let go of her hand and take a piece of paper, folding it New York style before taking a bite, chewing and swallowing. Meatball, olives, and Roma tomatoes. Doesn't get much better.

Taylor smiled almost ear to ear as he began to smile. She let go of his hand as he went to take a dirnk of his pop. She picked up a slice of her pizza. She was a bland type a girl with a whole lot of potential. She just needed that nudge.

I take a sip of my drink and suppress a smile at the cheese string hanging off the side of her mouth. Taylor, you've got a bit of cheese? I point at my own lip and struggle not to chuckle.

Taylor set the slice of pizza down, then picking up her coke and taking a sip. She looked to David, seeing as he tried to keep a luagh down. Then she looked down to the corner of her mouth, then only seeing the cheese string. This was her chance. If she was going to test her limits, she was going to have to go risky. "I can't find it. Mind helping me?"

I raise an eyebrow and stand up. I slide into the booth next to her and brush the hair back from her face. It's a silly situation but it's an intimate gesture. I move in slowly and press my forehead to hers before kissing her lips gently. I pull back after a minute and press my forehead to hers. I swallow down the cheese that was transferred and a small smile crosses my lips. I think I got it I say softy.

Taylor thought he would take his finger to get it, or if he was going to kiss her, to lean over the table. But she was both suprised and delighted to see him standing up and walking over to her side, sitting down. He slowly leaned in, placing his forehead on hers before kissing her. She kissed him back, slightly more passionatly than what he did. She felt the cheese transfered from her mouth to his. He pulled back, replacing his forehead on hers. She chuckled as her hand went to his. "I'm not so sure. Double checking is not a bad thing at all." she said, in a wierd sexy way, arching an eyebrow, smiling at him.

I can't help but smirk. Damn, college changed you. I grin and kiss her again, more passionately than before. I rest a hand at her waist. I pull back slightly breathless and press my forehead to hers after a few minutes. How about now? Triple checking can be good. I raise an eyebrow and smile.

Taylor smiled. "The question is, for better, or for worse?" she asked him before he kissed her again. Her lips felt perfectly made to fit with his. Is she really falling in love with him? Or is this some sick and twisted dream her mind has played on her? All she knew is that after he pulled away, she wanted more. Tay leaned up and kissed him again, placing her other hand on his shoulder, kissing him passionatly.

I pull back and groan as the manager calls over. Hey, wrap it up, Dav, I need to get home to my wife before she shoots me. He says in his thick Italian accent. Yeah, alright Frankie, just give me a minute. I kiss Taylor again before standing and grabbing a box. I put all the pizza into said box and extend my hand for Taylor. My place sound good? I ask. A smile plays on my lips. Yep, I'm in love with this girl.

Taylor looked at David, who then looked to the manager. She laughed as she grabbed her tote page after kissing him again. Good God, this girl was falling head over heels for the man. He has changed a lot since high school, she wasn't the only one. She took hold of Hanna's leash before standing up. "Sounds good to me." she said. In all honesty, any place sounded better than hers. She felt all alone there. All she wanted was a friend who could actually talk to her. Maybe tonight will result in more than just a friend for her.
