I look at her. Before, you couldn't protect yourself. Granted he treated you like a doll but you were incapable of defending yourself against supernaturals. Now, you don't need as much protection but you're still weak in comparison. I smirk. Men that fight over women like objects aren't worth your time.

"True. I wasn't able to protect myself when I was human but he did stuff that I didn't like. Like stabbing Elijah. He was never going to hurt me. He only hurt me that one time to protect his family. He did treat me like that. I held my own though don't you think. I'm not as strong as you orginals but I don't need protection 24/7. I can handle my own in a fight now" She smirks. "I totally agree with you there. I 'm tired of being treated like an prize to be won. That's why I'm giving up the Salvatore boys and going out to find someone who I can rely on and won't treat me like a child"

I down the rest of my drink and set it down. Tell me, why is it that you like being a vampire? The power, the immortality, no more being the weakling in this town; even though I can still crush you. I smirk and take another shot.

"It's amazing not being the fragile little girl anymore. I love the power and the healing also helps too. The only thing I don't like is the intense emotions. I know we can shut it off but it's only temporary. We still feel like everyone else does. I don't have to go behind peoples back to protect myself. I don't have to hurt anyone anymore and that's what I did when I was human. I made mistakes and hurt people that i didn't mean to just to get what I wanted. Being a vampire has made me realize how selfish and mean I was being. And it also made me realized why you and your family do awful things. You're just protecting each other" She said as she realized she was starting to get into a deep conversation with Rebekah, a girl until she was turned considered to be her enemy

I look at her and raise my eyebrows. Most everything I've ever done has not been to spite you. Like you said, I was looking out for my family. You and your friends were just unfortunate casualties. You know, there was a time when I wanted to befriend you. I chuckle. I told you the basis of any insecurities I have and you stabbed me in the back. You had your reasons, and I had mine. We've both screwed each other over a few times, haven't we? I take another sip of my drink and smile.

She does realize that you hunt humans just like me right?"She scoffed. She couldn't believe how self righteous Caroline was being against her and she didn't judge Rebekah that harsh

I smirk. Exactly. She knows that. She is probably the most judgmental person I know. She sits there telling me about how misunderstood I am, and that we're the same. I take another sip of my drink. Then she acts like I've crushed her world by rejecting her. She's desperate. It's more sad than funny. I shake my head and smirk.

She smirks back. "She is pathetic about that. She just wants some one to be friends with her so she won't be alone. That's why Klaus and her are the perfect match. They both don't want to be alone. I told her that she should turn her humanity off so she doesn't have to be guilty about liking Klaus"
